The band are delighted that Owen Wedgwood has agreed to take up the vacant Flugel Horn position.
Owen brings a wealth of experience to the band both as a player and Musical Director.
Owen has been helping the band out recently and his first engagement with the band was on their 125th Anniversary Concert in September.

The band will be presenting their annual remembrance concert on Friday 7th November in the Rockingham Centre,Hoyland Common at 7.30pm.

This is a ticket only event and has been SOLD OUT

Strata brass are delighted to announce Derek Renshaw as their new musical director.

Derek will officially take up the post at the end of September.

Derek brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the band having been very successful at this level of banding in the past with Unite the Union and Stannington Bands.

We  would like to thank all the applicants who applied for the job and wish them all the best for the future.

The band is grateful to the fund for a grant towards the running costs of the bandroom.

The band would like to thank the trust for its recent grant award towards continued development .

The band recently launched their new patrons scheme at the spring concert on 28th March.
