Strata Brass

Strata Brass under their resident musical director David Hirst have continued to flourish with the additional support of their sponsors during the last twelve months.

The band have once again showed their pedigree at entertainment contests in 2009,Winning Wychavon for the second year running and gaining runners up spot at Bolsover beating several first section bands along the way. The band have now won eight entertainment titles in the last four years.

The band were delighted to agree a further two year extension to the ponsorship with a Strata Group taking them to July 2011.

The band have recently recruited several new players,GlenTurner
(Euphonium), Joanne Reasbeck (Trombone), Matt Asher (Percussion) and continue to look for further players on Eb Bass and Cornet and Baritone.
